MY GARDEN, MY EDEN

Nature wonder wakes me
And calls me leave my bed
To rise and see the sunrise
And have my daily bread

And with new light surround me
Thoughts halo round my head
In shine and bright remembrance
Of how I'm Spirit led

I walk my Garden Eden
And hear what God has said
That though my flesh forsake me
Tis nothing I should dread

For I am born of Spirit
And live in Christ instead
By love I'll live forever
Death cannot make me dead

And when I thirst for goodness
And crave my spirit fed
My Garden streams with water
My Eden's manna spread
